Welcome to my Ford Explorer 2Dr fan-site
I bought this truck as a private sale from a young Ford salesman. It came with 140k miles but still running fine and no extraordinary damage. I found an overwhelming amount of information at http://explorerforum.com/. When I had the interior out in July 2010 for wiring upgrades, I found an unusual amount of dry tan dirt packed in various trim pieces, particularly on the right side and high. I am puzzling over how it got there as the truck seems fine in general; parts are not particularly corroded or spoiled. Maybe just snuck in from the first owner living in a dry dusty place?
The obvious name for this fan-site was already taken so I used the spelling that the State of Washington uses for Body Style to construct the URL.
TIME doesn't think much of the 1995 Ford Explorer
